Cy Pres Awards
The United Ways of Georgia, Inc. accepts Cy Pres awards. We are thankful for the opportunity to receive these awards to help further our mission to Inspire, Advocate, and Live United by connecting 31 United Ways in the great state of Georgia.
United Ways of Georgia also serves as a hub for state-wide ALICE.
The United Ways of Georgia  accepts Cy pres awards and, due to those gifts, we can make much-needed improvements in communities through our local United Ways throughout the state of Georgia. We focus on improving the health, education, and economic mobility of communities throughout the state.
The United Ways of Georgia work with local charities, nonprofits, and corporations to make meaningful changes within 31 communities across the state. We are also the statewide hub for ALICE. ALICE is short for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed. It serves as a crucial metric highlighting households in a given area earning above the Federal Poverty Level yet falling short of covering the essential costs of living—the ALICE Threshold.
